Do you have bungalows or rooms?

We have individual bungalows facing east towards the Pacific Ocean.

How many people can stay comfortably in each bungalow?

Each bungalow is made up of one main room.
In the bungalows local style, it is possible for 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children to stay comfortably.
The bungalows with kitchenett are a bit bigger and allow 6 adults.

What so you mean when you say ocean-side accommodation?

Our property sits on a thin strip of earth made up of coral about 300 meters wide one right on a lagoon. The bungalows are situated either along the lagoon, or near the ocean or reef.

Is it possible to swim in front of the bungalows?

Along the reef there are some water holes, true natural Jacuzzis, but not really deep enough to swim. For swimming we recommend the lagoon area 300 meters from your bungalow.

Meals

Do you offer common meals, family style, at the host’s main table?

Oh yes! This is an excellent way for great social interaction and allows the exchange of travel ideas and experiences between guests as well as along with us, as we all share our conversation over meals together.

What type of menu do you serve?

Each menu includes a first course, a main course including some local fish and a dessert. We serve water from our tank; bottled water or a selection of other drinks such as wine, beer, fruit juices and sodas are also available for purchase.

Why is it that you don’t offer a full board option for meals?

The majority of our guests goes on excursions for the day or participates in activities not necessarily near of the property. Rangiroa also offers other restaurants to experience or the option of buying snacks along the roads

What happens for breakfast?

Breakfast is generally ready beginning at 7:00am. It is a continental breakfast which includes bread, butter, jam, fruit juice, milk, tea and coffee.

Transportation

What are the forms of transportation at Rangiroa?

A van operates during the day, all day, and is often found at the airport. Walking around the area is also nice, but the most efficient is traveling by bicycle, as the islet stretches 12 km long. It is also possible to rent scooters or cars in various locations around the area

Do you offer airport transfers and do they cost?

We offer free airport transfers for our guests to and from the airport and our property.
